Is it smart to export lumber from Canada or import lumber to Canada to/from Asia?
I am living in Canada and my family lives in India who run a mid size lumber business. They sell all kinds of lumber and lumber materials. So my question is whether it is smarter to import lumber from India or to export lumber to India from Canada or neither and if so, what is the best thing to trade right now if I want to get into the trading business and what country should I trade with.
BTW i have a dual citizenship with Canada and India.

You should check where it would be the cheapest to import from.I have heard that Chile has been exporting very cheap lumber and undercutting other countries prices. The answer to this question should just be the start for you. Here is a website for further research.
