Couple of questions about building a beer pong table.
What is better as a top surface, wood or glass?
With a glass surface, is there a specific trim that I should use for the edges?
I'm trying to make a nice table for my new place, appreciate the help.
I'm trying to make a beer pong table that folds down the center for easy transport. So far I've taken a 2' x 8' board and cut it down the center, hinged it, and attached fold out legs. The problem is that when you stand it up the center of the table dips inward on its own weight making a slight V. So basically I'm looking for a way to support the center of the table so it lays flat. Best idea gets the points.
I am building a beer pong table, and i have been using Valspar Acrylic Latex Primer and Paint. I know this is not oil based, but does this mean i cannot use Polyurethane to protect the table? Also i have Valspar Clear Gloss, which i am assuming is clear coat, would clear coat protect the table just as polyurethane would?
I'm building a beer pong table and I need something clear (see-through) to use for the top of the table, I was thinking plexi-glass but it has it's disadvantages, does anyone have any better ideas?
I'm building a beer pong table, which will be made from plywood. I plan on painting a design on the tabletop, once this is done what do I do to protect the paint and wood from liquids? Thanks!
