1)several months ago, I opened my tattoo shop and was looking for a cheap chair. I responded to an ad. This person called back right away and was going to bring down the chair at this certain time at my shop. When that day came I called to confirm if we were still meeting, and he said to reschedule because he was feeling sick. A week later, I called to follow up but he never got back to me.

2). About 4 months ago I decided to take a friends advice by posting something on there to build up more clientele and advertise my shop.  The ad was to expire in 45 days.  There were a few people that have mistaken it as a job posting--and I was soooo mad when these people called cause these people were calling me at 9:30 at night!! I was furious! But I still handled it in a professional manner, by politely saying "no, I'm not hiring, it's not a job posting, but would u be interested on getting some ink done?". And they rudely said "no! I need a job!" and I said I'm not hiring sorry.  

3) this one time my friend was with me at my shop and this person riding a motorcycle pulled up and was asking about the job position. This was a big guy getting and I assumed that he had some trouble with the law (thank god my friend was with me)  I said, "sorry I'm not hiring, that was just something to promote my business.". Then this person said "fine" and drove off!  Omg!  I wad soooo furious!!! And I then went out side when no one was looking and I kicked my mailbox!

4)two years ago, I applied for art freelance job. He called back and wanted samples of my work and sent him some. He then wanted 2 meet with me at this certain time and place, but never showed up but called back saying he wanted to reschedule. I followed up and never heard from him again.

Idk if this was my wrong doing that caused these experiences? Maybe I lacked compassion with some of these people? And if i was being too judgmental in the third scenario?

Has anyone else had bad experiences with Craigslist?
