Table base stuck to the floor -.-?

Hello there,
I realized a few weeks ago that the base of my kitchen table was stuck to the floor. I assume that while mopping the base was suctioned to the floor... We have tried to get a corner of the base lifted and gradually lift the whole thing, but it refuses toy budge. We also need to be very careful to not shatter the ceramic tiles under.

Any suggestion is welcomed. We need to sell the table before we move. Id rather not have the house come with a built in table.

Thanks in advance :)

Is it cheaper to build your own furniture or to buy it?

I found designs in a book on how to build your own kitchen table and I was wondering would it be cheaper to build one or buy one? The same goes for a bookshelf or outdoor bench.

How did the drawer in a kitchen table come to be called a bible drawer?

Was it ever popular to store a bible in the kitchen table or is it just another version of bible tables (tables built specifically for reading a bible on)? I've tried to research it on the internet but have had no luck. It's just a weird thing that has me wondering.
