Where can I obtain lumber to repair a 1940's era redwood picnic table set?

This 1940's era redwood picnic table set was handed down to us and originally belonged to my husband's grandparents. It is not treated or stained. We need to replace the legs and braces because some pesky squirrels have been sharpening their little teeth on them. I want to use as close to original lumber as I can get but do not know where I can purchase it, or if it is even available anywhere. The separate benches and table top have been made from 2x's with 4 and 6 inch width boards and the braces and legs are 2x2 and 2x3. All of the boards are of the dimensions used in the 1940's, which by today's lumber dimension standards are probably not the same. Nor do I want treated or stained lumber. And I certainly do not want to use the set for kindling in the fireplace. Any ideas?

What is the best way to make a cross-over joint on the legs of a table that I am building?

I am building a large 4'X8' table. I have chosen to use cross-joint legs. What is the best way to make the joint where the two parts of the legs meet. Should I just butt them or should I cut a small amount of wood away where they meet to make the joint more stable?

How do you attach prefab table legs to a table top you are building ?

I feel stupid asking this question but this is my confusion. I am making a small table from an old vintage window I have. I have made the window into a nice table top. I saw some pre-fab legs at a lumber yard that i liked. But, the prefab legs all have a screw coming out of the top. Is there a piece of metal you can buy to attach to the bottom of the table that would allow you to screw the legs into the table top?

Plans for wood folding table legs?

I'm building a 60" octagonal cedar pation table. I want to build it with folding legs (cedar also). Does anyone know where to get plans for this?
Thanks for the links to Rockler, but I've already seen them. I'd rather build legs similar to a folding TV tray, but for a 60" table.

How much do you think this poker table is worth?

My bf had fun building this table, and one of his friends said he should custom build them for people. Here is a picture: http://s1183.photobucket.com/albums/x461/Skittle68/?action=view&current=image.jpg

The materials cost about 0. It has folding legs, and is VERY sturdy. It is has 5/8" closed cell foam padding, and could easily be made with custom colors/dimensions, with/without the glass center (without it would subtract a lot of time from the production, and about -40 from materials). The glass center is cool because you can easily change the center color, and whatever you have for decoration underneath. Anyway, what do you think it could sell for, and what do you think of the design in general? A rail could also be added.
