What Type/Color of primer should i use on Plywood/Fiberboard?

I am building a table out of plywood or perhaps fiberboard. i plan on painting it orange or red. Are there any advantages of using grey vs white primer, and is there a specific type of primer for wood?
also how much primer should be used to cover a 4x8 piece

Is there any reason I should'nt use used form lumber in a frame carpentry project?

I dont want to buy the lumber for a small project, or at least not the 2x material. I see used form lumber all over the place, with a thin coat of concrete on it. But I'm going to cover everything with plywood anyways. I know that concrete is very caustic to the skin, perhaps it'll destroy the integrity of the lumber?

What are some unique ideas for a beer pong table?

ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL DO. I'm building a beer pong table and I want it to be one of the best beer pong tables ever. I already going to have rubber triangles to hold the cups in place. I want something to clean the balls(not just a spot for a cup). I was thinking of having some storage thing to keep the balls and cups in. What graffics should I put on it?
I already play on a picnic table now. I'm making out of plywood and folding table legs.

Large turn table for posing people?

I want to build a large turn table for posing people for photography. I have one now, but it only works for standing poses. I plan on building one out of a sheet of plywood cut in half. The finished dimensions will be 4'x4' then. Does anyone know any place for plans or at least an idea for a bearing. I was thinking of routering in a round groove in the top an bottom and using marbles for bearings. I need the bearing to be out near the edges so that it still turns under an unbalanced load condition such as the model sitting to one side. The small lazy susan bearings are too small of a diameter to work properly under this condition.
