I want to build a Pool table Lamp, I plan to make a frame from oak, then use paper to fill in the shade part. I will be Using six 1watt 70lumen LED. I don't want it to be white like computer paper. More like a Cream color. I have seen lamps similar that are usually floor lamps with this paper shade. What do I use? Is it paper?clothe?

Hey there, I'm trying to build a pool table and am trying to figure out what wood to use to build it. I definitely do not want it to change shape or size, so I was thinking of covering the outside of the table, not the whole table, with fiberglass cloth. If I do this, does this ensure that the table does not warp? Also, if I want to build the table so that it doesn't warp or change shape or size, what should i do?

I am building a pool table and I found some plans online. The only problem is that I son't know what size circles to cut on the slate for the pockets. In the plans, the guy bought his slate precut, and it doesn't say the diameter of the cut or any other dimensions for it. I need to know whatever the standard is, because I going to buy standard pockets online. thanks.
