Rocking chair
Build yourself a rocking chair
a place where the weary can rest
and hold the hands of the ones that you love
and watch the sun set in the west
and watch the sun melt in the west
I miss the smiles I miss your face
I miss the morning dew
and as I sit in my rocking chair
The moonlight reminds me of you
the moons got me thinking of you
all over the countryside
blossoms bring clovers anew
i wonder who sits by your rocking chair
I'm sure that their heaven is you
the years pass by like droplets of rain
you can barely count as they fall
and I have learned to love from my friends
or I have learned nothing at all
and I have learned to love from my friends, or I have learned nothing at all.
