We need a wheel chair ramp for my wife who is depended on oxygen and is a diabeticand has copd and she has gotten to the point where she cannot get in and out of our doublewide mobile home anymore ,where can I find help for her,I'm not a carpender and know nothing about how to build one safely,can't aford to pay a contracter a whole lot of money.where do people find help without being on those long waiting list.
I live in new-brunswick Canada and I need to know the law for a wheel chair ramp at home. My father's girlfriend cannot walk up steps, she has to crawl up stairs because of some lung disease. Now she caught some kind of flesh eating bacteria and they think they are going to have to amputate her leg. I know the laws for a ramp at home and a ramp at a Business is not the same so I need your help. my father says an inch of rise for every twelve feet but that seems to be a little bit excessive, I was thinking more of an inch of rise for every thirty inches but I don't know.
I am 24 years old and I am 5'9 weighing in at 155 pounds, I am handicapped and am really weak due to having brain surgery in the past. I started in a wheel chair and have managed to work my way out of that to be able to walk again and I lost about 30 pounds doing that, my question is is there any ways to strengthen my body and build muscle not being able to lift heavy weights?
