I am a woodworking hobbyist and I am interested in finding woodworking plans (preferably cheap or free). I have built basic bookcases, a fireplace mantle, and various other projects in the past. I would like to build a cabinet for a sharpening station as one of the things I want to make.

I want to learn woodworking, but don't have the tools or space for it. Are there any places I can go in Kansas City (preferably North Kansas City) where I can learn to use tools and build quality wooden stuff (furniture, ect.)?
So i just want to make a little extra money, and i thought of going around a neighborhood and putting a letter on their door knob saying that I,m a handy man that could do any type of woodworking job. I was thinking i should do this to make up a little cash. But i dont know if this is legal. I'm thinking of just writing on the paper saying i can do repairs on a fence or a table or building a table or a dog house or a garage organizer. But again i dont know if this is legal. please answer i need a little extra cash.
I'm setting up a home office to work out of as a medical transcriptionist. I have the wood (oak) to build a computer desk with a hutch and a matching bookcase. I need a good sized one to hold everything. Where can I get some woodworking plans to build this type desk, hutch, and bookcase?
Hi, im a girl and im in woodworking this semester in high school. We have to plan on what projects we could make throughout the semester. So far i've thought of a cool looking bookend and a jewlery box. Anyone else have any other ideas?
