No back, just a bench to sit on. The seat is part of a recycled futon frame and a cushion. It just needs legs.
I tried stacking block columns, but they're not the right size, and the seat rocks and isn't steady. I need to attach seat to base.

We want to build one, but would like some idea of what we need to watch for so there is no damage to our pool table. I don't want a real heavy one, but I don't want something that is going to warp either. I already am aware of the differences in felt and which one to use. Any thing else we may be missing or need to know?
I want to start making some fun jewelry at home. I don't want to spend a lot of money to try out this new hobby. Any suggestions for basic tools to buy? THANKS!!!!
I'm going to build a coffee table that will be stained a dark color. What is the best choice if I'm trying to save money and and hoping to stick with solid wood? I'd like to spend about 40 dollars or less on the wood portion for on a 30" by 30" table of a normal height. Is this realistic? Thanks for any suggestions!
